Bally Technologies signs Amaya Gaming poker content agreement
Gaming industry entertainment solutions provider Amaya Gaming Group Incorporated has announced that its Ongame Network Limited subsidiary has signed a memorandum of understanding with online and land-based casino games and solutions firm Bally Technologies Incorporated.
The pair intends to integrate the poker and casino offerings from Ongame Network into the iGaming platform supplied by Bally Technologies to operators in the emerging United States online gaming market.
“We are delighted to add Bally Technologies as a partner in the United States market,” said Darcy Krogh, Business Development Vice-President for Amaya Gaming.
“It is an established global brand with great customer reach in the land-based gaming industry. The combination of Bally Technologies and Amaya Gaming should provide casino operators and their players the many benefits of a strong strategic alliance bringing state-of-the-art poker and casino content to the market.”
Amaya Gaming stated that Ongame’s solution, which includes 25 brands, is to serve as the preferred poker provider for Bally Technologies in the emerging US online gaming market.
“The ability to integrate the poker platform and other iGaming content will provide land-based casino operators another best-in-class business-to-business offering and allow them to utilise world-class technology while maintaining control of their operations through a proven licensed gaming supplier,” read a statement from Montreal-based Amaya Gaming.
In addition, casino content created by Amaya Gaming is to be integrated into the iGaming platform offered by Las Vegas-based Bally Technologies to give operators access to additional content.
“Ongame is a world leader in the online poker space and we are excited to incorporate its best-in-class offering into the Bally Technologies iGaming platform,” said John Connelly, Business Development Vice-President for Bally Technologies.
“This relationship further validates the current transformation within the online gaming sector, which integrates traditional and online casino systems, allowing casino operators to protect their data while offering their customers best-in-class content.”
