Betradar introduces software certification programme
Swiss sports and betting-related data services supplier Betradar AG has launched its own in-house certification programme for independent software providers.
St Gallen-based Betradar revealed that it decided to introduce its own certification programme as a result of the increasing product complexity in the betting industry along with the constantly evolving nature of its own offerings.
“The programme is designed to enable independent software providers to ensure the compatibility of their services with the leading betting and gaming solutions from Betradar,” said Carsten Koerl, Group Chief Executive Officer for parent company Sportradar.
“The aim of the certification is to assist our clients in rapidly deploying and implementing our innovative services and solutions.”
Offered for its pre and live betting services in addition to its range of gaming solutions, the new certification programme from Betradar will ‘optimise the customer’s experience by verifying that the software providers’ solutions interoperate with the betting and gaming solutions’ it offers.
Sportradar declared that the certification process is the start of a long-term cooperation between Betradar and independent software providers with ten firms having registered so far. Of these, a trio has passed the live odds services certification process including Gruppo Lottomatica’s new Spielo G2 subsidiary.
“Betradar’s certification program provides a great opportunity for us to add greater value to our professional services for the bookmaking industry,” said Paul Mears, Sportsbetting Vice-President for SpieloG2.
“It enables us to stay up to speed on the innovative betting and gaming solutions from Betradar as well as with the latest technology developments of this industry. We look forward to a long and successful relationship with Betradar and to deepening our footprint in the betting industry with innovative solutions that address the needs of this large and growing market.”
The new software certification process is being presented in two categories, Certified Partner and Gold Certified Partner, for each product Betradar offers.
“Gold Certified Partner means that clients have fully and properly integrated our feeds with all the features that we offer meanwhile Certified Partner meets the minimum requirements of the certification,” said Koerl.
