Casino Janitor Returns Lost $10,000: Report
CBS Sacramento reported that a 10-year janitorial veteran recently found $10,000 in a casino bathroom where she worked. She decided to give the wad of cash to her employer, who was eventually able to find the rightful owner thanks to video surveillance.
The janitor received a tip of $500, and then gave $50 to her manager.

It reportedly wasn’t the first time that janitor Meuy Saelee found a five-figure sum at Thunder Valley Casino and decided to turn it in rather than put it in her pocket.
The story is one of the latest publicized instances of someone returning lost gambling money to a forgetful gambler. In 2012, a Las Vegas cabbie returned more than $220,000 to a man, but in that case the low-wage worker received a tip of less than one percent.
