US Online Poker Payment Processing Report

February US Online Poker Payment Processing Report
February has brought a few moves within the survey. The good news for US players is that no room lost ground in terms of grading, although one room is processing checks as slow as they ever have. There are three A graded rooms in February for the first time since 2011. That is especially impressive considering US facing sports books are scrambling to process Super Bowl payouts to players. Last month's report is below. Last month's grades are in parenthesis.
January US Payment Processing Report
Winning Poker Network A (A-)
Americas Cardroom, Black Chip Poker and True Poker, all members of the Winning Poker Network, top our survey of US facing online poker rooms this month. This has been a common placement for the network. This is mostly due to the fact that they still offer the extremely popular debit card option. Players may request a debit card that works like an ATM card. The card arrives in 2-3 weeks. Cashouts arrive to the card in 1-3 days once the player has the card in hand. The fees are reasonable considering the speed of cashouts. Players pay $25 to receive the card and $4.95 a month to maintain the card. Withdrawals are $3 plus whatever the ATM charges. The maximum withdrawal by debit card is $2500.
The Winning Poker Network also offers checks for US online poker withdrawals. Players may request up to $2995 on each check request. The fee is $65 for a check, but players may request one free each month. Checks are delivered in 1-3 weeks.
Cash transfers are also available. Cash transfers arrive in 1-3 days and carry the following fees:
• $100 - $299 Fee: $60
• $300 - $499 Fee: $70
• $500 - $749 Fee: $85
• $750 - $999 Fee: $95
• $1,000 - $1,500 Fee: $110
Bodog/Bovada A (B+)
It is always important to give credit when credit is due in this industry. The Bovada brand, which is the US facing version of Bodog, has experienced delays in the past. They always come back with impressive withdrawal speeds. This means even more since the group is a large sports book and the Super Bowl winners are rushing the cashout screen.
The fastest way to cash out from Bovada is by cash transfer. These arrive in 1-3 days. The fees are as follows:
Money Transfer/WU
• $100 - $200 Fee: $40
• $201 - $500 Fee: $50
• $501 - $1000 Fee: $80
• $1001 - $2000 Fee: $150
Rapid Transfer/MG
• $100 - $200 Fee: $20
• $201 - $400 Fee: $30
• $401 - $600 Fee: $45
• $601 - $800 Fee: $60
Bovada also offers checks and bank wires to US players. Checks arrive in 1-3 weeks and wires are transferred in 2-4 weeks. Checks have a $3000 max, while wires have a $5000 max. Each carries a $50 fee, but this fee is waived on the first cashout each month.
Intertops A (A)
If there was ever a model of consistency for US online poker cashouts, it is Intertops. The group rarely moves from the A or A- spot. That is because their speeds are consistently fast each month. The only issue is that the fees are higher than other US facing rooms. Unfortunately, Intertops no longer accepts new US players, but they do allow players that already signed up before the restriction to continue to play.
Intertops processes checks in just one week for amounts between $150 and $3000. Bank wires are processed in 2-3 weeks. Both carry a fee of $50. Cash transfers are also available. They are processed in 1-3 days. The fees are as follows:
• $150-$500 Fee: $70
• $501-$1000 Fee: $85
• $1001-$2000 Fee: $180
Merge Gaming B+ (B+)
The old Merge Gaming cashier that still services sites such as Aced and PokerView has benefited from the attrition of skins using the cashier. This has happened due to losses of skins such as Black Chip Poker, Hero Poker and RPM Poker.
Checks arrive in 2-3 weeks and carry a fee of about $20. The maximum check cashout is $2500. Some players have cash transfers as an option. These arrive in 2-5 days and carry a $30 fee. The maximum cash transfer amount is $850.
Carbon Poker/Jazette C+ (C+)
Carbon Poker, which shares their cashier with Sportsbook and PlayersOnly, currently offers only one option for withdrawal. That option is a check. Typically cashout speeds are now 4-6 weeks. Players may have multiple cashouts pending at the same time. If the cumulative value is $2500 or less then players can receive multiple cashouts at the same time. This cashout time is certainly respectable, the grade simply refelcts the major improvements other networks have made in recent months.
Lock Poker D+ (D)
Lock Poker has once again made a small improvement in their poor cashout speeds. Cash transfers are down to 5-6 weeks. Checks are still in the 3-4 month range. Rest of world players seem to be receiving their cashout requests slightly faster as well. Players receive one free cashout per month. Since players cannot request one cashout while another is pending this essentially makes all US cashouts free of charge.
Juicy Stakes D- (D-)
Juicy Stakes is the US facing brand of Cake Poker. There are still major issues with US cashouts there. There is only one option for US players. That option is a check. The maximum is $3000 and there is no fee. Checks arrive in the 4-5 month range.
