Unibet Completes Move to iPoker France
By Nick Jones
Unibet's poker room in France made the planned move from Ongame onto iPoker Thursday.
The room will join the likes of Titan, TurboPoker and, most notably, new arrivals from Betclic Everest.
The late addition Betclic.FR and EverestPoker.FR resurrected the previously dormant network. iPoker.FR now is neck-and-neck with PartyPoker.FR as the third largest network in France.
Quirkily, the only remaining skin on Ongame’s French network is thought to be bwin.FR. bwin.party, the previous owner of Ongame, recently sold the network to Amaya and moved both its Spanish and dot.com players onto the PartyGaming platform.
In Italy, bwin.party also has both its brands—popular Giodigitale and bwin.IT—still on the sizable Ongame.IT network.
