Microgaming to debut blackjack to xBox consoles

In an effort to teach players the various ins and out of blackjack, online gaming software provider Microgaming has launched the free-to-play Bronzebeard Blackjack: The Strategy Coach three-dimensional mobile app for Microsoft Windows 8.0 and Xbox.

Microgaming stated that the new app had its first showing at this week’s GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and sees blackjack master Captain Bronzebeard take players on ‘an intergalactic and educational adventure’ complete with over 60 three-dimensional animations, four levels of gameplay and ‘a wealth of special treasure wins’.

Bronzebeard Blackjack: The Strategy Coach is available as a free downloadable mobile app from the Microsoft Windows Phone Store and does not require web connectivity once activated. The animated game currently supports the new Windows Phone 8.0 as well as older Windows Phone 7.0 operating systems and is set to be made available for Xbox consoles via Xbox Live.
